In addition to the creation of telecommunication products and solutions, company is an active member of the society.  OMNITEL takes an active part in development of information society in the country.

The shareholders are telecommunications companies Amber Mobile Teleholding (55%), the USA company Motorola Inc. (35%) and private persons (10%).

In December, 2002, OMNITEL gave the Christmas reception called THE ICE BOWL for 3000 clients and partners. The stunning ice show by Margarita Drobiazko and Povilas Vanagas and their friends was followed by the unique happening - in 10 minutes the ice arena became a party hall.
