Nadia Kukebaeva Over this year Margarita and Povilas worked extremely hard. But this work was very exiting. On the ice they worked with choreographer Elena Maslennikova who was their main coach and choreographer from 1989 through 1999 and she choreographed their 2002 Olympic programs and their best gala-routines. To turn into pirates
they had to take fencing lessons - not
simple fencing but artistic fencing. Margarita and Povilas worked with
Grigori Levakov and Andrei Uraev. Grigori teaches fencing in drama schools
in Moscow. He also taught fencing to Adrian Paul when he acted in Highlander.
Andrei is a well-known in Russia fencing producer. He worked in many
theaters in Russia and other countries. |
